Day Trips from Siena

We had a little Ford Fiesta in Siena and would take family trips on the weekends to see small towns and to get ready to guide students on visits. Some of our favorite cities were Assisi (above), Pienza, Cortona, Buonconvento, Bologna, and Lucca.

We were also able to visit the Lamborghini factory outside of Modena and actually watch the cars being assembled--including an engine being placed inside a Murcielago.


Speaking of sweet machines--Jacob took a liking to Ducati motorcycles while in Florence and this nice guy let him take this picture.
