Fall, Mushrooms, and Flowers

We loved the fall in the countryside. Part of the kids' school was finding and identifying plant specimens. They would draw and paint them and then would write stories based on their observations and adventures in the woods. We all loved it!


Drawing Parasol mushrooms from the field in front of our house. We also ate them--they are delicious with some olive oil, garlic, and wild fennel (also from in front of our house).
