Camping in the Uintas

We have been camping up in the high Uintas recently. We hike 3-5 miles into the mountains and set up camp. Leah, Sam, Jacob, and I carry backpacks (Eve carries a bear whistle) and we set up camp, filter our water, and explore. It took a bit to convince everyone that we would be safe and that we didn't need a civilized camp site. We navigate with a GPS and and have explored some beautiful areas. The picture above is a view of the Notch above Cliff Lake.
Sam and Jacob ready to go feeling rather chipper.

Taking a break after hiking to Cliff Lake--our half way point--not feeling so chipper.

We finally arrived at the divide lakes and set up camp then went out to explore.
