fishing for vegetarians

We weren't sure how to handle the kid's enthusiasm for wanting to fish, but not wanting to hurt or eat the fish. They have been dead set on trying though so we broke down, bought them poles, and went to Payson Lakes (one of the most productive fishing spots as Jeremy can confirm).































It seems our kids are better at fishing for vegetarians than for fish with many near misses of a wild-flying hook. In the end everyone caught something and was happy (but no fish):
